Rich

Rich also went to university at Trinity College, Cambridge where he made up for his lack of footballing skills by taking up rowing. He was selected for the college first VIII after a single term and was immediately hooked, devoting the rest of his college life to the sport. He succeeded Dan in the captaincy of First and Third Trinity, before becoming part of the Cambridge University squad for the famous Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race.

Since leaving college Rich has worked in London for CHP Consulting, an IT Consultancy specialising in financial software. He has also continued rowing, competing in a number of races such as the Head of the Charles regatta in Boston (USA), Royal Canadian Henley and the Trinity Regatta in Dublin. Formerly a keen kayaker, Rich also enjoys other outdoor and adventure sports and has recently run the Nike 10km, the City to Surf run in Sydney, Australia and joined Dan on a two week white water rafting expedition in Alaska.

Rich enjoys the competitive aspect of anything, whether it be rowing or board games, and will be going all out to ensure he achieves the best possible result in the Atlantic Race.

Rich is currently training like a nutcase in order to keep up with Dan.
